We had a bit of a cool start to summer, but once the sun found its way, it has been fantastic weather ever since.  We have just finished with the end of school, a few end of school gatherings, a 40th wedding celebration from some new friends in Nanaimo, a quiet weekend away for some huge soccer fans, friends and relatives coming in from Ontario, cyclists completing this segment of the Trans Canada Trail and more.

This weekend we welcome a few guest from Ontario to celebrate the 35th wedding anniversary of a brother and friend living here in Shawnigan Lake.
