EATS Festival and the Edible Garden Tour
What’s on this Weekend?
Start your day with the Eats Festival - Local Ingredients Pancake breakfast! Iron Chef Pie Contest! Fund Raiser and Food drive! Celebrate local food and the fall harvest season at the Cowichan Green Community’s 3rd annual harvest festival on Saturday, September 25th from 8:30 – 3:00. This year the festival is moving to Charles Hoey Park in the heart of downtown Duncan and celebrates the move with a new name - the Cowichan Community EATS Festival (Equity…Abundance…Taste… Sustainability).
Still have energy? Continue on to the edible garden tour - Take a self-guided tour of some of the more interesting edible gardens in the Cowichan Valley and get inspired. You'll see a wide variety of creative ways to grow fruits, berries and vegetables, some of them year-round. At the same time you'll be supporting CGC with its valuable community endeavours.
